CAMPING

Country Camping can accommodate motor homes, trailers, fifth wheels, truck campers, van campers, tent trailers and tents.  We have plenty of pull through sites and group camping is more than welcome. Campsites located right along the shoreline of Big Vermilion Lake are plentiful.  Keep your vehicle close and park right at your own private site.

Country Camping offers sunny and shaded sites, exclusive use of bathhouse with immaculate washroom facilities and free hot showers.
Firewood for sale cut, split and delivered to your site.  Fishing licenses, fishing expertise from the camp manager, trailering of boats to various launches and 30 amp full hook ups.

Individual and private fire pits for your evening bonfires or cooking the evening meal.  Pets are allowed providing you take full responsibility for clean up and ensure the comfort of other guests is not jeopardized.

Just a short drive away you will have access to groceries, medical facilities, local restaurants, etc. in the town of Sioux Lookout.

Take a break from fishing and swim with the fish - right off the dock.  Maybe the kids would enjoy a quiet paddleboat ride, whatever your choice, we’re here to make it happen.

The Blueberry Festival is a real highlight for the town of Sioux Lookout and runs for a full ten days.  Ten days filled with activities such as outdoor BBQ’s, the popular Bannock Challenge bake off, Bocce Tournament, Socials, Golf and Tennis Tournaments just to list a few.

The Blueberry Festival kicks off the first week in August and we will be happy to provide you with a complete Schedule of Events.   Come and join us !!!!
